Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Contribution Energy Fund (Flanders)?

This contribution will be charged on the invoice. Eneco will give this amount to the Energy Fund, which uses it to finance, among other things, the running of VREG.

  • Before March 1st, 2016
Before this date, the Contribution Energy Fund was approximatively 15 eurocents per month.
  • Between March 1st, 2016 and December 31st, 2017
During this period, the yearly fee was calculated per connection (or delivery point) based on the electricity consumption. That means that you paid at least 100 euros per delivery point per year.
