What is an EAN code?
Every gas and electricity meter has a 18-digits identification number. The first two digits are identical for the whole of Belgium (54). This EAN code is important for smoothly processing your request. You can find your meter’s EAN code on the invoice of your current energy supplier. Or you can contact your grid operator. Go to website of the VREG (Flanders) or the CWaPE (Wallonia) to find which grid operator you are connected to.
