Frequently Asked Questions

What is a yearly invoice?

If you have a meter with a yearly reading, you will receive advance invoices during the year. Once a year, after we have received yearly meter readings from your distribution grid operator, your annual invoice will be drawn up. After the annual reading by your distribution grid operator, Eneco will know your actual consumption and will then be able to correctly calculate your energy costs. If the total of the advances that you have already paid in the previous period is lower than the cost of your actual consumption, the difference will be invoiced to you. If you have paid more, the difference will be refund to you.

Based on your consumption, a recalculation of the advance payments you will make in the future will be drawn up if needed.

Note: a yearly invoice will not necessarily cover an entire year.
